State Fair Event

On August 2nd, the Laser Robotics team traveled to the Wisconsin State Fair Park to help participate in a demo in robotics. We brought in the competition robot from last year’s competition, as well as a wooden prop resembling the spaceship that was used in the actual competition that we carved ourselves, and a few pieces of cargo. While a couple of our members drove the robot, a couple of other members stayed back to explain to many intrigued families on how the competition works; mainly, the rules that are applied in the game, how our robot works, and finally, how we managed to get funding and builders to make said robot. After a while, we took our robot out on the stage, to show off our robot to the crowds.
